If you're ready to feast your eyes with a festival of orchids with different shapes, sizes and colors, visit Sul Orchids at Mintal, Davao City. Sul Orchids is an orchid farm, there are no entrance fees, and you can get a free orchid farm tour if you wish. The orchids in this farm are for sale at affordable prices.
As soon as you set foot at Sul Orchids, you'll be greeted with an array of Dendrobium varieties already in full bloom. If you go further, you'll see Vanda Terete, Phalaenopsis, and of course, the famous Waling-Waling. Of all the orchids I've seen, I have a favorite: Kagawara Christie Lou.
And at the risk of being redundant, here's my photo posing beside Kagawara Christie Lou. Thanks to Kikit for taking this photo.
Here we go again, I have never been in Davao but I can feel its beauty already. My Mom is a daughter of nature she loves orchids more than us hehehhe. My mom would definitely love that garden. Do they sell fertilizer ba? If we have the chance to touch down davao, I will bring my mom there then I'll wait her at the top of Marco Polo hahahha. That garden could be the mecca and spa of flowers for HER (my mom). Can you feature Eden Nature Park please? :)
ReplyDeleteThis are very big orchids. We used to have orchids just outside of our house in Baguio.
ReplyDeleteHi Sweet! Thanks for the comment on my page. It was nice meeting you last Saturday. Hope to explore with you (and the rest of the team) again.
